Lino Carbosiero

Lino Carbosiero is a British hair stylist. Over the years. his client list has featured some of the world's most famous names, including Madonna, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Rachel Weisz, Sharon Stone and Dustin Hoffman.{{{1}}} He is currently working at the Daniel Galvin hair salon in London.

Early career

Lino started his career at Neville Daniel in the early 1980s, serving his apprenticeship under Neville Tucker and Daniel Hersheson in New Cavendish Street. He opened his own salon called GeraldLino with business partner, Gerald Monaghan, in nearby Blandford Street.{{{2}}}

In the years of salon ownership, he forged a liaison with the 80s pop management team of Stock, Aitken & Waterman.{{{3}}} Through the record company he began to become notable in the music, television and fashion industries, working with artists such as Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan. He was Best Man to Pat Van Den Hauwe when he married Mandy Smith.{{{4}}}

Working backstage on a variety of films, tv shows, concerts, and West End Shows, he was the head stylist for all of the contestants who appeared on the first three series of X Factor.{{{5}}} He worked for the Rolling Stones on their Steel Wheels (1989) and Urban Jungle (1991) tours.{{{6}}}

Current career

His current clients include Minnie Driver, Brenda Blethyn, Tamzin Outhwaite, Anna Friel and all of the Osbourne family.{{{7}}} A famous look he created for Sharon Osbourne won Most Wanted Cut & Blow {{{8}}} He also won an award for ‘Head of the Year’ after cutting Phillip Schofield's hair in 2003 {{{9}}}

Lino also had his own weekly column in The Sun, a monthly column in EasyJet Magazine, and gave hairdressing tips and advice to Candis Magazine.{{{10}}} He also works with Hilary Alexander on the monthly make over page for the Daily Telegraph. He also featured in the successful Yummy Mummy Survival Guide Book. Kelly Osbourne new book Fierce features Hair do's and Hair Don'ts by Lino.{{{11}}}

Lino was the global spokesperson for Avon International's hair care range and has also been Style Director for Brylcreem and Laross Hair Extensions.{{{12}}} In 2008 Lino appeared in Britain's Missing Top Model on BBC3. This Morning on ITV used Lino for a make over slot on their show called Bus Pass Beauty. He appeared in OK! magazine doing Amanda Holden hair for her wedding.{{{13}}}
